Details
The Oak Wood Yurt is lined with gold coloured serge liners on the roof and deep red liners around the walls, a Kyrgyz woven tent band wraps around the roof poles. It has a wide arched doorway opening onto a small porch covered deck. Inside it is well equipped with wood burning stove and gas cooker with two rings and a grill. The double bed is made up with duvet, pillows and Egyptian cotton bedlinen.
Outside it is well sheltered from the weather, surrounded by oak trees, hazel and gorse, while the yurt itself sits in its own secluded clearing. There is a picnic bench , fire pit, deck chairs and a swing from a nearby oak tree. There is a hammock in the trees. It is an easy walk down through the fields to the woods and river at the bottom of the hill.
