The prices listed below are for for our range of Central Asian style yurts with curved roof poles. If there are any specific requirements you may have for your yurt whether its another doorway, a porch, or higher walls, let us know and we will give you a quote and any advice you may need. Porches: highly recommended zip on porches to stop rain blowing in to the entrance of your yurt and giving added protection to the doors. £140 including guy ropes 2 coppiced poles and pegs.
Nikwax Cotton Proof: we recommend that canvas covers are reproofed every year if in intensive use (6 months plus per year).Nikwax has proved to be the most effective treatment without the environmental impact of similar brands. Diluted 1: 6 when dry. One litre £14.95 plus p+ p . Five litres is £45 plus p+p.
Ordering:
Phone us up and talk through what you are looking for or email with your requirements. We will then send a written quote with estimated delivery time. A 30% downpayment will be required before work begins. Full payment on completion.
If you are uncertain whether yurt life is for you, come and stay in one of our holiday yurts. This would give you an opportunity to see what it is like to stay in a yurt, see the workmanship and to visit the workshop.
Delivery or Collection
We deliver all over the country or we can send by carrier. Personal delivery can include assembly, although all our yurts go out with detailed and illustrated instructions. Delivery and assembly, within 50 mile radius, is £100, within 100 miles, is £150, 150 miles is £200 etc. plus mileage charged at 50p per mile there and back.
Alternatively we can send by carrier on an overnight or three day service. Cost is determined by weight and as a general guide will cost in the region of £1 per kilo.
Perhaps a more convenient option is to collect in person. We can assemble the yurt here in the workshop before you leave or you could set it up in the field for an overnight stay on the smallholding. Cost of assembling here is £75.
