Due to articles in the Observer Travel pages , the Sunday Telegraph and others over the last two years there has been alot of interest in the yurts throughout last season and this. As a result it's a good idea to book as early as possible especially for the holidays and half terms etc. We try and book as many full weeks as possible but short stays are usually available and can be booked one month in advance. If you are interested in making a booking for a week long stay plor a short stay for April please send in the availablity form. Details of short stays and special offers will be posted on the availability page or fill in the form to go on our mailing list.
The season starts on Friday 28th March 2008 and runs through to October the 24th. For up to date availability see the Availability Form page.
From the 25th of July 2008 there will be a new 18ft yurt to sleep 4. there will be more information and pictures going up on the site over the next week or two. For the rest of the season the 18ft is same price as the 16ft.
From the 25th July ,the 16ft yurt will have a double bed in it and instead of sleeping four will sleep two with room for a cot . More details about these changes will be published on these pages.
The prices for a week have gone up after two years of no increases. While the yurts are very well equipped, pillows, duvets and sheets are not included but can be provided for a small extra charge. Over the last couple of years the yurts have been very popular for honeymoons and aniversaries; if you would like to buy someone a holiday voucher as a wedding, Christmas or other present please let us know.

Terms and Conditions:
Please leave the yurts as you find them.
Once the dates of your holiday have been confirmed please fill in the booking form and send to Yurtworks with the appropriate deposit. Only on receipt of the booking form and deposit is the booking secured. Please make cheques payable to Cornish Yurt Holidays.
A deposit of 50% of the total cost is due at the time of booking with the balance payable one month before your arrival. At the time the final balance is paid a returnable deposit of £50 is also payable to cover damage, breakages or extra cleaning that may be required. This will be returned within 14 days following departure less deductions if applicable.
Week Stay bookings run from Friday to Friday from 4pm on the day of arrival. Guests should leave by 10.am on the day of departure.
Please leave the yurts as you find them.
In the event of a cancellation every effort will be made to re- let, but if this is not possible Yurtworks reserves the right to retain the deposit and recover the balance due. Guests are reminded that insurance can be obtained for this sort of loss. If the accomodation is not available due to fire, flood or other unforeseen circumstances, the owner cannot accept liability or responsibility, but the deposit and any rental money already paid will be refunded.
Yurtworks and Sunnybanks Farm are not liable for loss or damage to guests' property or any injury to themselves or dependents during their stay. Parents should be responsible for their children at all times.
Please report any breakages, so that they can be fixed or replaced as soon as possible.
Any damage to Yurtworks property during the stay must be replaced or paid for.
Recycling is normal here and facilities are provided to make this easy.
Plenty of fire wood is provided when you arrive, if you would like firewood for campfires or extra wood for the stove it will cost £5 per bag for wood burner logs, £4 per bag for camp fire wood, £2.00 for kindling.
There is a walk down an uneven path to the yurts, for the walk up, a reasonable degree of fitness is recommended. Please contact us if you have any concerns about this.
Unfortunately no dogs are allowed on the property but an excellent kennels nearby can be recommended.
Please do not smoke inside the yurts.
Yurtworks reserves the right to change the dates the yurts are available at any time during the season. Special offers , two night stays and details of any cancellations will be posted on the availability page.
