Finally some dates and details for the yurt making course ........

It will be a six day course spread over three weekends over three months. This timescale has worked well in the past giving time in between sessions to work on your yurt at home.

The course will cover:

You will make your own fulyl spoked and morticed wheel and make a start on the rest of the components (you won't be able to complete your yurt in 6 days so you will need to have time at home to do some work on it between sessions). There will be an opportunity to see a slide show of visits made to mongolia and the Kyrgyz republic and optional video screenings of dvds featuring yurts and gers. On the saturday night you can either sleep in a shared 16ft yurt with carpet and stove or in local bed and breakfast accomodation .
